Trade Buyers Account Manager Role Overview
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Buyers Account Manager to lead the acquisition and management of trade clients primarily interior designers while supporting the full order journey from product sourcing to final delivery. This role will work cross-functionally with operations and tech to ensure a seamless customer experience and play a key role in developing our B2B strategy.
This is a hybrid setup, based in Porto, Portugal, with 3 days per week in our office. As a Trade Buyers Account Manager, you'll be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Sales & Relationship Building:
* • Act as the primary point of contact for interior design firms and trade buyers across Europe, the UK, and US.
* • Drive the acquisition of new trade clients primarily interior designers and convert leads into long-term accounts.
* • Present and promote our vintage and antique inventory aligned with client needs and trends.
* • Build lasting relationships through tailored support proactive outreach and consistent follow-up.
* * Order Management & Operations:
* • Coordinate all aspects of order processing from initial inquiry to final delivery.
* • Liaise with operations and sellers to confirm availability pricing and delivery timelines.
* • Work closely with our COO on fulfillment strategy performance insights and delivery improvements.
* • Maintain clear documentation of all transactions logistics steps and communications.
* • Develop and maintain a growing network of logistics partners for global shipments.
* * Tools & Reporting:
* • Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track and manage leads accounts and conversions.
* • Monitor and report on key KPIs lead conversion rates and buyer feedback weekly.
* • Collaborate with the Tech team to improve features tied to trade buying purchasing flow and order tracking.
* • Flag any delays inconsistencies or friction in the order process and propose solutions.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with:
Native-level English required to communicate effectively with our clients.
Fluency in French a nice-to-have but not mandatory.
Portuguese essential to communicate with our internal team.
Previous experience working with CRM systems particularly Salesforce preferred but not required.
Experience in sales trade relationships or client services preferably in the furniture interior design and related-logistics industries ideal for this role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills able to manage multiple orders and client accounts simultaneously.
Familiarity with interior design workflows and/or logistics across Europe and the US beneficial.
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment able to adapt quickly and propose process improvements.
Confident communicator both written and verbal with a solutions-oriented mindset.
