Role: Senior Functional Data Architect
Location: Hybrid, Lisbon, Portugal
Required skills:
Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Masters preferred)
5+ years indata architecture, data modeling, or enterprise data management, ideally within complex multinational organizations.
Proven experience withenterprise data modeling,data platform architecture, andgovernance frameworks.
Hands-on expertise withMDM, data warehouses, and data lakehouse architectures(e.G., Medallion architecture).
Familiarity withdata cataloging and metadata tools(Collibra, Alation, etc.).
Strong knowledge ofBPMN 2.0,SQL, andcloud data platforms(Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Understanding ofdata quality frameworks,privacy and compliance standards, anddata lifecycle management.
Excellent communication skills able to bridge technical and business discussions across global teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience inanalytics and AI-driven data environments.
Working knowledge ofdata risk managementandaccess control models.
Exposure tosemantic data modeling,ontology management, ordata marketplaces.
Certification indata architectureordata governance(e.G., DAMA, TOGAF, CDMP) is a plus.
