It shall provide support in the selection and implementation of investment strategies. It shall oversee the building of infrastructure required for allocating, monitoring and reporting risk and performance vis-à-vis strategies and market developments. It shall provide analysis of new products/activities/services and processes given its impact to balance sheet profile of the Bank. It shall oversee risk control of interest and liquidity risks of the balance sheet through monitoring and reporting of compliance with limits.Role Exposure:Oversees overall process of identification, analysis, measurement, reporting, monitoring and management of interest rate and liquidity risks arising from assets and liabilities portfolios in the balance sheet of the Bank and its subsidiaries.Assists in further developing a robust risk management framework, infrastructure and methodologies including contributing to the development of policies and procedures pertaining to interest rate and liquidity risk management activities as they affect the Bank’s asset and liability mix and efficiency.Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity and identifies emerging risks and their impact on the balance sheet profile and limits through analysis of new products/activities/services and processes to be engaged in by the Bank.
