Job Description As a Process Industrialization Engineer, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, supporting production areas, and ensuring the effective industrialization of new products and technologies.
Your contribution to something big: Executing continuous improvement activities in production processes, focusing on quality, environment, safety, and efficiency, while preparing handbooks and performing process confirmation activities; Conducting cost-benefit analyses, preparing technical specifications, and developing capacity studies to support investment approval; Providing technical support to production areas and creating documentation to sustain standardized production practices; Performing the technical approval of production equipment while ensuring corrective actions are implemented and validated; Developing studies for new products and assessing their impact on required investments; Collaborating in guideline workshops planning, including DFMA (Design for Manufacturing), to optimize product design for production efficiency; Contributing to D-FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) by analyzing design risks and their effects on customer requirements; Performing P-FMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) activities through process mapping, identifying failure modes and their effects on the product and customer; Supporting supplier selection by evaluating technical proposals according to project requirements (Lead Time, Quality, Investment, Risk); Coordinating equipment and investment setup within the factory, conducting final validation tests, and securing approvals from relevant departments to ensure compliance with Bosch norms and standards; Monitoring production performance after SOP (Start of Production) to ensure achievement of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) targets, identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and defining/implementing improvement measures; Identifying needs and implementing actions related to Industry 4.0, integrating digital solutions into production equipment and KPI monitoring systems.
Qualifications What distinguishes you: Education Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience Know-How Previous experience in industrialization, production engineering, or process optimization in an industrial environment; Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement tools, FMEA, DFMA, and production planning; Experience with equipment specifications, industrial investments, and technical documentation; Familiarity with OEE and capacity studies.
Languages Good command of English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
