We are seeking a Software Architect professional willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team in a hybrid model in Porto.
Hybrid Model – 2x per week on-site-Porto.
Working as a Software Architect on development projects and technical consultancy for both national and international clients. Focused on designing simple, elegant solutions to complex business challenges, while ensuring availability, scalability, and high system performance.
Responsible for global technical mentorship and architectural support—from individual applications and services to large-scale distributed systems. Actively involved in strategic technology planning, always balancing technical priorities with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement scalable, resilient, and maintainable software architectures
* Provide technical consultancy and strategic guidance to development teams
* Ensure adherence to best engineering practices and architecture standards
* Make key technology decisions and contribute to long-term technical roadmaps
* Lead multidisciplinary development teams throughout the full project lifecycle
Profile
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar fields
* 5+ years of experience designing and building complex software applications
* Proven experience with large-scale or technically challenging projects
* Knowledge of technologies such as Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET Core, SQL, Windows Workflow Foundation is a plus
* Strong technical literacy, excellent communication skills, and a natural problem-solver
* Experience in team leadership and motivating technical teams is essential
* Detail-oriented and customer-focused
* Willingness to travel occasionally
* Fluency in English
