About Forvia
Forvia is a company in the automotive sector. It creates innovative solutions for sustainable mobility and to improve life on board.
SASAL, Automóveis, Lda, is a company of the Forvia Group, leader in the development and production of high-quality automotive components, dedicated to the cutting and sewing of covers for car seats.
Main responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with department procedures;
Participate in Product Audits (Boom Analysis);
Continuous improvement: Develop programs/activities/workshops and contribute to the continuous improvement of the process, tools and equipment.
Participate in the development of product and process optimization in terms of improvements (productivity) and VA/VE and monitor indicators;
Ensure monitoring of engineering changes related to cost reduction in accordance with change management procedures, with the ECR team.
Support production or suppliers in solving problems (Cut MPR processes);
The internship will last 6 months.
It will be an internship through IEFP.
Skills
Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Management Engineering;
Microsoft skills;
Good interpersonal skills, initiative, critical thinking;
Ability to analyze and solve problems;
English (mandatory);
