Job Description
The primary goal of this position is to ensure seamless operations at our manufacturing facility. This involves supporting daily Production technicians and Process Engineers with the current MES subsystems such as OEE, Recipe System, Historian System, and data collection. Additionally, the OT Engineer will coordinate global manufacturing OT solutions provided by Coloplast Global OT and oversee their successful implementation locally.
Furthermore, the role will involve configurations for HMI and Switches within OT domains, as well as data monitoring and supporting digitalization efforts through the implementation of new technologies at the facility.
* Provide support to the production site in all OT software development tasks
* Track OT maintenance tasks and participate in improvements for all local production machines
* Participate in and drive development projects alongside the Operations Development Team and Coloplast Global OT
* Manage/participate in IT/OT projects
* Maintain, support and enhance EAM (E1 maintenance module)
* Maintain, support and improve existing computer systems such as CIRMOS, iFIX, VIP-OEE, ESR, etc
* Design and support new OT software and process improvements
* Create and conduct OT-related training sessions
* Manage and enhance project documentation and integrate OT-related improvements into current processes
* Monitor data and ensure system efficiencies at the Portugal facility
* Assist IT with alerts and system-related issues at the Portugal site
* Support digitalization efforts through the implementation of new technologies at the Portugal site
* Add and transfer machines to and from OT domains within the Portugal facility
* Configure HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and Switches for OT domains at the Portugal location
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Engineering or a related field – or equivalent practical experience
* 3-4 years of work experience in manufacturing-related roles
* Solid experience managing and troubleshooting OT systems
* Experience with manufacturing IT/OT protocols
* Knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS) (Rockwell/automation systems) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems (iFix or Optix)
