Job Description
These tasks await you:
1. Build up and maintain portfolio strategy in line with the BA needs and define a well-balanced portfolio; to minimize risk, to ensure flexibility, to get an advantage position on the supplier market;
2. Define, deliver and update a Sourcing List;
3. Identify and onboard new potential suppliers where the need is identified;
4. Identify any value improvement activities and steer implementation;
5. Present and align the strategies with BA stakeholders;
6. Handle all negotiations at the Category Supplier;
7. Negotiate and maintain necessary global contracts;
8. Support Advance Purchasing with complex / difficult negotiations;
9. Manage suppliers in representant of the BA;
10. Support Region Purchasing for Quality, Supply and Commercial escalation;
11. Conduct market survey for the category of Investment in the Region;
12. Support the plants as the next escalation level in case of supply problems (quality or delivery);
13. Share market situation with stakeholders;
14. Report categories performance in a regular base;
15. Forecast expected price development;
Qualifications
16. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, in exceptional cases an equivalent professional experience;
17. Many experience in the field of purchasing, and experience in the automotive are is desirable;
18. Strong purchasing portfolio handling (strategy, supplier list, market know-how, portfolio analysis, forecast);
19. Experience in RFQ, Offer analysis and comparison;
20. Experience in risk management claims, finance;
21. Ability to work with a remote team;
22. Project Management experience is a plus;
23. Functional or project leadership experience is a plus;
24. English language skills in written and spoken;
25. Good communication and teamwork skills;
26. Many years of exposure to international business;
27. Willingness to travel, about 30% of the time.
