The Senior Consultant - Finance Transformation supports the delivery of transformation projects aimed at modernizing clients' finance functions. This role is ideal for professionals with 2-5 years' experience in consulting firms, strong analytical capabilities, and exposure to finance processes and digital transformation initiatives.
Description
1. Project Delivery & Support
Contribute to Finance Transformation engagements, including diagnostics, process mapping, solution design, and implementation activities.
Conduct analysis on finance processes such as Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), FP&A, and Treasury.
Support development of target operating models, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.
Prepare high-quality deliverables including workshops materials, reports, and presentations.
2. Client Engagement
Engage directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements, understand pain points, and validate findings.
Present insights and recommendations clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
Build trusted working relationships with client teams.
3. Financial Processes & Digital Enablement
Perform detailed analysis of current-state processes and identify opportunities for optimization and standardization.
Support implementation of digital tools such as ERP enhancements, automation (RPA), analytics platforms, and workflow systems.
Assist in developing KPIs, dashboards, and performance monitoring tools.
4. Team Collaboration & Contribution
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (finance, operations, IT, data).
Mentor junior analysts or interns, offering guidance and feedback.
Contribute to internal initiatives such as methodology development, proposals, and thought leadership.
Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, or related field.
2-5 years in consultancy firms (Big Four, global advisory firms, or boutique consulting).
Experience supporting finance transformation, process improvement, or digital finance projects.
Familiarity with finance processes, accounting principles, and internal controls.
Exposure to ERP systems.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis.
Experience with tools such as Power BI is a plus.
Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication.
Ability to structure analyses, solve problems independently, and present conclusions clearly.
Strong teamwork skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
High level of motivation, adaptability, and client-service mindset.
