You willtranslate requirements into robust concepts and detailed designs, working closely with architects, system designers, and engineering teams to deliverhigh-performance solutions .
This role requires a strong combination oftechnical depth, system understanding, and ownership, with a focus on deliveringfirst-time-right designsthat balanceperformance, manufacturability, and reliability .
We're hiring Mechanical Design Engineers to: Translate specifications into well-founded mechanical concepts and detailed designs Take ownership of mechanical modules or subsystemswithin complex systems Performadvanced engineering analyses(tolerance analysis, strength, stiffness, FEM) Develop and detail3D models, drawings, and technical documentation Makesubstantiated design decisionsconsidering manufacturability, cost, and performance Collaborate closelywith multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders Contribute tosystem integration, testing, and validation Identify technical risksand drive effective solutions Guide and support junior engineers and designers For more senior profiles: Lead technical work packages or mechanical design scopes Act as atechnical sparring partner to system architects Contribute tosystem-level design and architecture decisions Take a leading role inmentoring and coachingWe're looking for someone experienced with as much of the following as possible: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field(BSc/MSc/PhD) 5+ years (medior) to 10+ years (senior)experience in high-tech or precision engineering Experience in industries such assemiconductors, high-tech equipment, aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or robotics Proven experience working oncomplex mechanical or mechatronic systems(not just individual components) Stronganalytical skillsand experience withengineering calculations and FEM Proven experience withtolerance analysis and precision design Experience working in amultidisciplinary development environment Knowledge ofprecision mechanics and high-accuracy design principles Experience withCAD tools and complex 3D design Strong knowledge ofDesign for Excellence (DfX) Ability totake ownership and work independently Strongcommunication skillsand stakeholder alignmentWhat we provide Full relocation suppor t to help you (and your family) move smoothly to the Netherlands.
