Position Summary
For our NBS Order to Cash (O2C) department, we are looking for a Cash Collection Specialist. Reporting to the Cash Collection Lead Specialist, this role involves managing customer account balances, ensuring timely payments, and mitigating uncollectable debt risks.
A day in the life of...
1. Manage customer queries to keep sales ledger balances accurate;
2. Handle due and overdue balances, maximizing on-time payments;
3. Notify markets of uncollectable debts and mitigate risks;
4. Follow collection strategies based on market plans;
5. Respond to collection concerns from customers and stakeholders;
6. Ensure good communication for customer service and problem resolution;
7. Analyze KPIs and present during Daily Operational Reviews;
8. Participate in trend analysis and root cause investigations;
9. Implement business and internal controls for collections;
10. Review and update routines due to legal or process changes.
What Will Make You Successful
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or similar (preferred but not essential);
- Knowledge of basic finance terminology and accounting rules;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team spirit;
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills;
- Work ethic and respectfulness.
