Senior Project Manager
Overview
A leading international financial institution is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its teams in Lisbon.
Operating within a complex and international environment, the successful candidate will lead and coordinate non-IT management consulting projects, driving strategic initiatives from inception through to delivery.
This role requires a confirmed professional capable of working autonomously, managing senior stakeholders, and ensuring the highest standards of rigour and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
Lead and manage non-IT projects in a management consulting capacity, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality standards
Coordinate and engage with senior stakeholders across multiple business lines and geographies
Design and deliver high-quality presentations and executive reporting using MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
Drive change management initiatives, ensuring alignment and adoption across impacted teams
Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement corrective actions where necessary
Produce clear and structured reporting to support decision-making at senior management level
Candidate profile
Proven experience in project management within a management consulting or financial services environment
Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint for presentation design and MS Excel for reporting and data analysis
Full professional proficiency in English — both written and verbal — is essential
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
Demonstrated autonomy in decision-making, with a structured and rigorous approach to work
Experience in change management and the ability to lead organisations through transformation
Exceptional attention to detail and a client-focused mindset
