Client:Leading Japanese IT/Manufacturing Company (Europe Operations)
About the Role
We are looking for an experiencedSAP FI/CO Consultantto support our client's European operations.
The role is mainly focused onSAP system maintenance, support, and minor enhancementsacross finance and controlling processes.
The position is predominantly remote, with occasional on-site presence inPortugal and Germanyas required.
Key Responsibilities
ProvideSAP FI/COsupport, maintenance, and troubleshooting (incident handling, root cause analysis).
Support core FI areas such asGL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, bank/payment-related processes(as applicable).
Support CO areas such ascost centers, internal orders, profitability analysis (if relevant), month-end activities.
Deliverminor configuration changes/enhancements, updates, and continuous improvements.
Collaborate with business users to align SAP processes with operational requirements.
Assist withtesting (UAT/system testing), data validation, and issue resolution.
Document processes, changes, and maintain a system knowledge base.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, includingSD/MM integration pointswhere needed.
Qualifications & Experience
5+ yearsof hands-on experience inSAP FI/CO(support/maintenance-focused experience preferred).
Strong understanding ofSAP support operations(tickets, change requests, release/update cycles).
Experience working withinternational stakeholders; European operations exposure is a plus.
Fluent English(Portuguese/German is a plus but not required).
Able to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively across time zones.
