Purpose
* As a Reporting Officer, you will support the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes for our business units. You will assist the business management team in providing actionable analytics and data insights.
Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing quarterly Management Reports within expected timeframes and quality standards. Review and support actual project/vessel/Shore base performance, reforecasting yearly targets as needed.
* Support quarterly analysis of over/under recoveries by department, SG&A costs, operating costs, and headcount variances. Collaborate with the HR department on employee benefits and headcount-related matters.
* Load data into reporting tools and review submission reports (project/vessel or department-level, as well as consolidated).
* Support the preparation of Financial Control Targets (FCT) in close collaboration with departmental/internal project managers and Business Controllers. Challenge deviations from approved budgets when necessary.
* Conduct ad-hoc analysis (simulation, business cases, KPIs, expense analysis by currency, travel expenses, etc.).
* Work on P&L interco reconciliations for consolidation purposes.
* Contribute to the 3-year Plan Process (Budget cycle).
* Ensure compliance with internal control (ICOFR) and strive for continuous improvement.
* Participate in Company-wide transformation programs for reporting dedicated information system tools and suggest innovative solutions.
* Liaise with various internal stakeholders during quarterly closings and budget cycles, providing ad-hoc analysis to Business Controllers and/or Finance Managers/Directors when necessary.
Education
* Master's degree in Finance/Economics or relevant postgraduate degree and qualification in finance (i.e., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
Experience
* 0-2 years of experience in a relevant reporting position (e.g., international audit firms).
* IFRS knowledge.
* Fluent English language skills; other languages are an asset.
* Proficiency in IT tools, especially Business Object, SAP, and Excel.
* Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines.
