WIT Software creates products and solutions for the Telecom industry and has a very strong background in Messaging, IP Voice and Video, Unified Communications, Telecom VAS services, IPTV, and Mobile Money. The company has 23 years of experience and collaborates with leading Telecom companies worldwide, including in Europe, Japan, the US, and Africa. WIT is developing an innovative software product leveraging emerging concepts from the latest IMS and mobile telecommunications networks, with potential for distribution to hundreds of mobile operators and service providers, reaching millions of users globally.
We are seeking a talented Solution Architect to develop advanced software solutions for Mobile Network Operators. Ideal candidates will have experience in managing and developing highly scalable software platforms for Internet, Cloud, or Telecom, detailed knowledge of SIP protocol, Application Servers, and cloud deployment, excellent communication skills, and a drive to create innovative products for the global market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead requirements gathering and design of software solutions, translating high-level requirements into concrete architecture.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including management, UX/UI designers, and quality assurance to deliver comprehensive solutions.
3. Participate actively in the development process by writing code, reviewing code contributions, and troubleshooting technical issues.
4. Stay updated on the latest technologies, specifications, and industry trends in SIP, VoIP, and messaging.
5. Leverage cloud resources from providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP to deliver highly scalable and reliable solutions.
6. Maintain updated project plans to ensure timely delivery of software releases.
7. Regularly report project status and milestones clearly and concisely.
8. Assist in preparing RFI/RFP responses.
9. Perform technical and functional presentations to customers.
Requirements
1. BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience with software solutions in the telecommunications sector, with at least 2 years in solutions architecture within Telecom.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Kotlin, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
4. Experience with Agile methodologies.
5. Technical background in Telco with strong knowledge of SIP, VoIP, and messaging.
6. Proficient in Unix/Linux environments.
7. Proactive and energetic project leadership skills within team environments.
8. Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Strong organizational and presentation skills.
10. Ability to take initiative and operate independently.
