In partnership with our client, a company in the food sector, we are recruiting a
Health and Safety Manager Alentejo | Algarve)
to ensure compliance with legal and/or internal standards and policies in terms of Occupational Health and Safety.
Responsibilities And Duties
* Collaborate in defining the company's risk prevention policies, planning and implementing the respective management system;
* Develop occupational risk assessment processes;
* Plan and develop prevention and protection measures and manage the external resources involved;
* Manage the Health and Safety team;
* Ensure the required documentation for the management of H&S and HACCP prevention and promote the appropriate information and training to the employees and stakeholders;
* Promote a preventive culture and participation in HS processes;
* Develop the company's relations with the National Network for the Prevention of Occupational Risks;
* Manage the budget of the areas concerned, as well as all Capex investments, ensuring their full execution within the defined timings and costs;
* Develop and monitor KPIs for the areas of this responsibility.
Skills & Experiences
* Good English skills (mandatory)
* Previous experience in the role;
* Health and Safety Technician level VI
* CCP, BRC trainning
* ISO 14001 e EMAS;
* Conflict management;
* Ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams;
* Capacity for critical analysis;
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;
* Target and Goal Oriented;
