Responsibilities As an IT Support Specialist, you will be essential in supporting our internal teams while contributing significantly to the company's digital transformation, with a focus on:
Provide day-to-day IT support to attorneys, paralegals, and staff, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently;Troubleshoot network, email, and system connectivity problems to minimize downtime;Manage and maintain office equipment, including computers, printers, and telecommunication systems;Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up workstations, user accounts, and software access;Ensure cybersecurity best practices, conduct system updates, and monitor for potential security threats;Support and troubleshoot legal software and cloud-based platforms such as Google Workspace, Egnyte, and other document management or case management systems;Implement and manage CRM and legal case management solutions to optimize workflow and client management;Configure, maintain, and support software applications and internal tools to optimize workflows;Assist with website configuration, updates, and basic development tasks to ensure online presence is up to date;Liaise with external vendors and service providers for IT-related issues and improvements. Requirements Technical Skills Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or a related field;Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues;Proficiency in managing and maintaining office IT infrastructure, including computers, printers, and telecommunication systems;Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Google Workspace, Egnyte, and CRM or legal case management solutions;Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including system updates, threat monitoring, and endpoint security;Familiarity with macOS operating systems, as well as mobile device management;Basic understanding of website maintenance, updates, and configurations;Ability to configure and support software applications to optimize workflows. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist attorneys, paralegals, and staff;Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment;High level of attention to detail and ability to document IT processes and troubleshooting steps;Ability to work independently and collaborate with external vendors and service providers. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferential but not mandatory);2+ years of experience in IT support or system administration, preferably in a professional services environment (law firm experience is a plus).
