Senior News Editor
We're seeking an experienced Senior News Editor to create timely and impactful stories in the AdTech world. The ideal candidate will be a proactive thinker who can take ownership of tasks and ensure high-quality output through collaboration with other team members.
The platform offers four key values to users: Agency Rankings, Awards, Marketplace, and Trending Brands. We're looking for a Senior Editor to cover marketing and AdTech news on Trending Brands with sharp, original stories, a strong editorial sense, and a knack for using SEO, CMS, and AI tools to boost impact and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Pitch and write original, timely news articles, explainers, and editorial stories focused on the marketing and AdTech industries.
* Upload, format, and optimize articles in our Content Management System (CMS).
* Apply SEO best practices and editorial judgment to maximize traffic.
* Improve processes and workflow automation using AI tools and agents.
* Publish weekly exclusives on new marketing campaigns, C-level moves, and interviews with business leaders.
* Build B2B partnerships for early access to announcements and collaborative content from top U.S. brands.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in digital journalism for B2B publications.
* Deep understanding of AdTech, MarTech, and branding trends.
* Fluent in written and spoken English.
* Ability to work independently and generate high-volume, high-quality content.
* Familiarity with gap analysis using Google Analytics and Ahrefs.
* Able to work between 5 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET.
* Strong knowledge of AI tools, AI agents, and workflows.
