We are looking for an experienced Azure Site Reliability Engineer who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Automation and CI / CD : Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for deployment, scaling, and managing productive environments.
2. System Monitoring and Maintenance : Implement monitoring tools, proactively identify and resolve system issues to ensure health and performance.
3. Incident Management : Address and resolve incidents promptly, perform root cause analysis, and implement prevention measures.
4. Performance Optimization : Analyze and optimize system performance for scalability and efficiency.
5. Capacity Planning : Evaluate system demands to predict growth and ensure readiness for scalability.
6. Collaboration : Work closely with development teams to integrate reliability principles via continuous integration and deployment practices.
7. Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on system architecture and workflows.
8. Tool Development : Build and enhance internal tools to streamline processes and bolster reliability.
9. Security : Ensure implementation and monitoring of security controls across all systems.
10. Service Level Objectives (SLOs) : Define, track, and meet reliability metrics aligned with business goals.
11. On-call Support : Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical systems 24/7.
Required Qualifications :
* Minimum of 5 years in an SRE or DevOps role, specifically with Microsoft Azure.
* Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Azure CLI, PowerShell).
* Extensive experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services (VMs, Storage, Networking, etc.).
* Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
* Proficiency in monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and third-party tools like Grafana and Splunk.
* Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPNs, NSGs, load balancing, hub & spoke).
* Familiarity with Azure governance and cost management (Azure Cost Management, Azure Policies, management groups).
* Language Requirements : English (C1).
Preferred Qualifications :
* Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
* Knowledge of technologies like Kong, Event Hubs, and Dapr.
* Language skills in French (B1) or Dutch (B1) are advantageous.
