Our client is looking to recruit a Head of Infrastructure and Maintenance, who will be responsible for the end-to-end management of infrastructure installation and operations. The role requires strong skills in technical project management, negotiation, environmental legislation, and operational efficiency, combined with availability for travel and adaptability to a fast-evolving environment.
Description
Coordinate all phases of infrastructure installation for the client and provide support to operational sites;
Assess technical and operational requirements for infrastructure installation;
Identify, evaluate, and select infrastructure suppliers based on defined criteria, and manage supplier relationships to ensure service quality and compliance;
Negotiate and establish contracts for supply, technical assistance, and both preventive and corrective maintenance;
Prepare and submit authorization requests to local authorities for infrastructure installation;
Ensure the acquisition of all required licenses and permits;
Follow up on administrative processes with municipalities and relevant entities;
Supervise the operation of infrastructure after installation, ensuring proper functioning;
Coordinate technical maintenance of equipment and troubleshoot breakdowns;
Monitor infrastructure performance and implement continuous improvements in operational processes;
Identify human, technical, and logistical resources needed for infrastructure operations;
Prepare operational budgets related to maintenance, logistics, consumables, and other support services;
Monitor budget execution, control costs, and assess variances against forecasts;
Support the definition of sustainable and scalable operational models.
Profile
Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related fields;
Strong skills in planning, organization, and project management;
Knowledge of equipment licensing legislation;
Excellent negotiation and communication skills with public and private stakeholders;
Availability for frequent travel within the national territory;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical or operational project management;
Experience in supplier selection and negotiation;
Experience in preparing and managing operational budgets;
Previous knowledge of municipal licensing processes will be considered an asset;
Knowledge of Power BI (preferred);
Good written and spoken English skills.
