Principal Specialist, Workday Reporting (Global People Analytics)
Summary: Randstad is hiring a Principal Specialist, Workday Reporting to serve as a founding technical architect for our global reporting strategy. Reporting to the HRIS Run Team Manager, you will translate complex business needs into advanced matrix reports, dashboards, and scalable data solutions.

What Will You Achieve in This Role?
This is a technical consultancy position within the HRIS Run Team, focusing on the \"art of the possible\" within Workday.
What are the core responsibilities?
* Technical Architecture: You will lead the build of the \"Holy Trinity\" of Workday reporting: Advanced, Matrix, and Composite Reports.
* Logic Design: You will be the master of Calculated Fields, using \"If/Then\" logic to transform raw data into sophisticated business insights.
* Stakeholder Interpretation: You will take vague requirements from global HR Business Partners and translate them into functional technical specs.
* UX & Dashboards: You will design visual dashboards and discovery boards that allow leaders to see the \"bigger picture\" across HR and Finance data.
Role Distinction: This is a Technical Specialist role. It focuses on architecture, complex logic, and data strategy, rather than manual data entry or basic administration.
What Do You Need to Succeed?
We are looking for a mid-to-upper-level specialist who is technically elite but also possesses an \"analytical curiosity.\"
* Workday Mastery: Deep expertise in Composite Reporting and Calculated Fields is a non-negotiable requirement.
* Communication Skills: You must be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical business partners.
* Data Privacy (GDPR): A good understanding of European data privacy standards is essential.
* The \"Nice-to-Haves\": Experience with Workday Prism, Discovery Boards, or HCM/Security certifications.
