What You'll Be Doing
Infrastructure Orchestration:
Oversee a global trading infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime and peak performance for high-frequency FX trading.
Low-Latency Tuning:
Perform deep OS performance tuning (RHEL/SLES) to support applications where latency is the most critical metric.
Automation Engineering:
Heavily utilize
Ansible and Puppet
to automate repetitive tasks, achieving absolute consistency across a complex, distributed environment.
Bridge to Development:
Act as the infrastructure subject matter expert for the software development team, aligning hardware capabilities with software requirements.
Strategic Roadmap:
Research emerging technologies to define the future technology stack and ensure alignment with global group policies and compliance.
Hybrid Operations:
Manage data center build-outs, OS migrations, and the integration of virtualization and container technologies into the trading ecosystem.
What We Are Looking For
Extensive hands-on experience with Linux system administration (RHEL, SLES) in production environments.
Proven expertise with provisioning and configuration tools—
Ansible and Puppet are essential
for this role.
Familiarity with hardware optimization and OS tuning specifically for
low-latency
applications.
Highly comfortable with
Python
and
Shell
scripting to drive custom automation and monitoring solutions.
Experience with server hardware, data center operations, and ideally, exposure to Windows/NAS administration.
A strong desire to learn new technologies and a track record of supporting mission-critical, \"always-on\" server infrastructure.
Fluency in
English
, with the ability to collaborate directly with business leaders, developers, and network engineers.
