You're about to embark on a fascinating journey that will bring you closer to the heart of data management. As a crucial member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
Your responsibilities will be multifaceted:
* Design and develop efficient ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration across systems.
* Lead and participate in end-to-end data migration projects from on-premise systems to cloud platforms using Informatica CDI.
* Optimize existing ETL processes to improve performance, scalability, and data reliability.
* Develop and implement data validation and testing strategies to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data.
* Monitor and support ETL operations in production, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data models, data integration strategies, and ETL standards.
Requirements
To excel in this position, you'll need to possess:
* 3-5+ years of experience as an ETL Developer working with Informatica PowerCenter.
* Hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI), including development of cloud-based mappings and synchronization tasks.
* Demonstrated experience in data migration projects, particularly from on-premise to cloud platforms.
* Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT principles.
* Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
* Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) is a plus.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
* Written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 or above).
* Candidates must be based in Portugal and possess either European citizenship or a valid Work Visa/Residence Card – mandatory requirement.
