Event Operations Director
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Operations Director to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of banquets, events, and meetings. This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of these activities while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Oversight:
o Develops and implements comprehensive operational plans, procedures, and protocols to ensure efficient event execution.
o Monitors and controls financial and administrative responsibilities, including asset protection.
o Collaborates with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality services based on client requirements and standards.
* Team Management:
o Schedules banquet service staff to forecast and service standards, while maximizing profits.
o Liaises with kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of culinary aspects.
o Leads shifts and actively participates in servicing events.
* Customer Service:
o Ensures employees understand expectations and parameters to provide excellent customer service.
o Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints.
o Fosters a positive atmosphere by setting a good example for guest relations.
Requirements:
A High school diploma or GED; 2 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional areas is required. A proven track record of successfully managing teams, coordinating complex events, and providing exceptional customer service is essential.
