Profile: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in energy systems engineering;
- Experience with substation automation, protection systems, or power control systems;
- Proven experience in energy infrastructure projects;
- Hands-on experience with data networks and communications in energy environments;
- Knowledge of protection systems, including SCADA, RTUs, and IEDs;
- Knowledge of databases and primary substation equipment;
- Experience with commissioning, field testing, and validation activities;
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as IEC *****, DNP3, and Modbus;
- Strong technical documentation and specification writing skills;
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers (nice to have);
- Fluent in English;
- Basic knowledge of French and Spanish (nice to have).
Responsibilities:
- Define technical architectures and system specifications for energy and substation automation solutions;
- Produce functional and technical specifications aligned with client requirements;
- Select and specify equipment and technologies for each solution;
- Support project planning and technical coordination activities;
- Participate in configuration, testing, commissioning, and validation activities;
- Produce operational, maintenance, and training documentation;
- Support and mentor junior engineers;
- Participate in technical forums and innovation initiatives.
