As a trainee, you will be part of the RD team responsible for reviewing and troubleshootingtrouble reports (bugs)in Nokia'sRANLayer 1 (L1) software. Position: Internship Duration: 12 months Start date (tentative): November, 2025 Location:On‐sitein Amadora, Portugal Education recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school Your responsibilitiesDebugging and assessing C++ code to investigate trouble reports Apply troubleshooting methods to identify and resolve complex issues Collaborate with cross‐functional teams working on different RAN software components Gain knowledge of 4G and 5G RAN system architecture and protocols Document findings and contribute to team knowledge sharing Your skills and experienceYou have : B.Sc. or M.Sc. student (Telecommunications, Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field) Knowledge of C++ programming and software development practices Ability to evaluate and solve problems with a debugging mindset Familiarity with mobile networks, particularly 4G and 5G RAN technologies Strong communication skills and fluency in English It would be nice if you also had: Proactive, self‐directed, and motivated to learn Experience with Linux OS is a plus.
