The organisation delivers high-quality operational services across Wealth Management, Asset Services and Asset Management, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and strong alignment with global standards.Your New RoleAs Head of Securities & Alternative Investments Reconciliation, you will be responsible for leading and developing a critical reconciliation function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of positions while driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.You will manage a team of c.14 people and play a key role in overseeing reconciliation activities across securities, funds and alternative investments, within an international environment.Your main responsibilities will include:Leading, developing and managing the reconciliation team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvementOverseeing daily operations, including workload distribution, resource planning and team coverageEnsuring the accurate and timely execution of reconciliation activities, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiencyMonitoring reconciliation breaks, investigating discrepancies and coordinating resolution with internal and external stakeholders.Managing operational risks, priorities, escalations and critical incidents related to reconciliation activitiesEnsuring strong operational controls and compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and audit standardsDefining, monitoring and reporting KPIs and operational metrics to support decision-makingLeading and contributing to projects related to process optimisation, automation and system enhancementsDriving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability and control frameworksCollaborating with operational, risk, technology and audit stakeholders across the organisationWhat You'll Need to SucceedMinimum 5 years' experience in banking operations, with strong exposure to reconciliation activitiesAt least 2 years of management experience within an international environmentStrong expertise in securities, funds, private equity and alternative investmentsSolid understanding of reconciliation processes, operational controls and banking operationsExperience in process optimisation, automation and operational risk managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detailProven leadership and team management capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProactive, autonomous and solution-oriented mindsetFluent English (French is a plus)What You'll Get in ReturnA strategic leadership role within a dynamic and international environment, where you will play a key role in building and developing a reconciliation function from an early stage.You will have strong exposure across operations and stakeholders, with the opportunity to impact processes, systems and team development.Additional benefits include a hybrid working model (3 days in the office), health insurance, meal allowance and performance bonus.What You Need to Do NowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
