Job Title: Event Operations Coordinator
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Event Operations Coordinator to oversee the set-up, service, and closing of functions. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
* The ability to oversee the set-up of events including checking of the physical layout of the room, providing the servers with the proper set-up information, and posting updated event sheets in the kitchen.
* The ability to oversee the service of the function assigned by the manager to ensure the success of the function and staff adherence to all service rules.
* The ability to meet individual hosts and make him/herself accessible to the host for any need that may arise.
* The ability to properly close all event checks and complete the Captain's log book at the completion of the function.
* The ability to oversee the clean up of all events and ensure the proper removal and storage of hotel linen and skirting.
* The ability to report all incidents to the manager.
* The ability to oversee proper clean up, handling and storage of all props and specialty china.
* The ability to assist the manager in the annual performance evaluation of the servers.
* The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management and staff.
* The ability to ensure the proper care, security and maintenance of hotel equipment through proper supervision of service personnel.
