We are looking for a Functional Tester for a challenging project in the financial sector
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through thorough testing and defect identification, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design test cases, execute tests, and report findings to stakeholders.
What you'll be doing:
1. Actively participate in software implementation projects, focusing on testing and development;
2. Perform manual and automated tests, including test execution, defect identification, and reporting;
3. Utilize testing frameworks and related tools to ensure software quality;
4. Develop and execute SQL scripts for data validation and backend testing;
5. Implement load and performance tests using tools such as SoapUI, TestComplete, JMeter, among others;
6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure software integration and functionality;
7. Analyze and synthesize test data, prepare detailed reports, and communicate results to stakeholders.
What do you need to bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field;
- At least 2 years of solid experience in participating in software implementation projects;
- Basic knowledge of testing frameworks and related tools;
- Proficiency in SQL programming language;
- Experience with test automation and load testing tools (SoapUI, TestComplete, JMeter, or similar);
- Experience in manual testing – test execution, defect identification, and reporting;
- Strong analytical skills, logical reasoning, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize information;
- Good communication and organizational skills;
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written;
- Experience in the payments industry will be valued.
