The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Real Estate - Construction team to our Lisbon or Porto office's. EY has an established leading real estate technical practice: we address complex issues in all real estate segments and we advise our clients on technical due diligence, project management, procurement, costs analysis, engineering and other advisory services. Your key responsibilities
1. Support our Construction team in strategic and operational activities;
2. Conduct technical due diligence and urban planning analysis;
3. Conduct physical inspections to buildings and data collection;
4. Review of Engineering projects;
5. Lead technical meetings with general clients, contractors, designers, architects and consultants;
6. Conduct Project Management activities based on PMI methodology;
7. Preparation of status reports and project management tools;
8. Collaborate with people across Strategy and Transactions, as well as the broader EY team to support service delivery outcomes and cross-teaming.

9. Excellent interpersonal and business skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in internal and external forums;
10. Ability to work in multiple projects and effectively prioritize competing demands;
11. A proactive, supportive and respectful approach to their team, and able to function under pressure but also demonstrate judgment in the need for escalation when required;
12. Advanced report writing, analysis and problem solving;
13. Fluency in business English and Portuguese is mandatory both verbal and written;
14. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
To qualify for the role, you must have
15. Academic education in Civil Engineering or similar fields of study;
16. At least 4 to 10 years of relevant professional experience;
17. Proficiency in Office, Autocad, MS Project and PM tools;
18. Demonstrate track record in solving complex problems and challenging projects;
19. Background in BIM software is valued;
20. Certification in PMP is valued;
21. Fluency in Portuguese and English.
