Your Role in a Nutshell:
We’re looking for a passionate, creative, and strategic Social Media and Community Lead who lives and breathes music and digital culture. You'll amplify our brand presence, nurture vibrant communities, and turn our app's passionate users into active ambassadors. You'll have room to pitch wild ideas, test what excites you, and shape how millions of users experience our brand online. Think of this as your studio, not just your desk.
Your Mission
* Social Media Strategy: Craft and execute innovative strategies to expand our social media footprint on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter), Reddit, and Discord.
* Community Development: Create, schedule, and manage engaging multimedia content (videos, stories, posts) tailored to Gen Z audiences.
* Influencer Initiatives: Manage strategic partnerships with influencers, artists, and key figures in music communities to drive organic growth and brand credibility.
* Ambassador Programs: Develop and oversee ambassador programs, turning passionate fans into active community evangelists.
* Community Engagement: Encourage user-generated content and respond promptly to community feedback.
* Analytics and Optimization: Track performance and research trends, competitors, and best practices to keep our strategies fresh and effective.
* Viral Growth Initiatives: Leverage creativity to design campaigns and initiatives that encourage virality, referrals, and strong word-of-mouth growth.
What you’ll need to succeed?
* 3+ years experience managing social media communities, influencer partnerships, or digital marketing campaigns - ideally within music or tech industries. Portfolio required!
* Demonstrable success building and scaling engaged Gen Z communities, particularly on TikTok and Instagram.
* A natural affinity for music culture, with current knowledge of industry trends and emerging artists.
* Excellent storytelling and content-creation skills, able to craft visually appealing and compelling narratives.
* Strong analytical and strategic mindset, comfortable translating data into actionable insights.
* Exceptional organizational skills, capable of juggling multiple projects without missing a beat.
* Proven ability to thrive independently in remote settings while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Bonus Points If You:
* Have direct experience managing ambassador programs or influencer relationships in the music or entertainment industry.
* Are comfortable creating short-form video content and being the face of it.
* Have experience with growth hacking and viral marketing tactics.
The Interview Process
* First Meeting: Connect with our people team for a mutual introduction and to see if we’re a good fit (30-45 minutes).
* Second Meeting: Present a previous project to the GM (goal, strategy and outcomes) (45 minutes).
* Third Meeting: Meet our Product Analyst and discuss performance tracking and optimization (45 min).
* Whiteboard Challenge: Demonstrate your abilities to our CEO and LiveOps Manager (1 hour).
On average, our process takes about 3-4 weeks. Speed is as important to us as it is to you.
