Documentation Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Documentation Specialist to create high-impact technical content.
The successful candidate will have a strong ability to understand complex systems through hands-on exploration and translate them into structured, user-centric learning experiences.
* Explore the product hands-on to build a solid understanding of how it works and how developers use it.
* Create conceptual articles, how-to guides, architecture overviews, API documentation, and tutorials that cater to developer or infrastructure audiences.
* Collaborate closely with internal experts to clarify complex topics and ensure accurate representation in documentation.
* Identify and address knowledge gaps, contributing to content strategy and helping shape the overall developer enablement journey.
* Continuously learn and adapt your understanding as the product evolves, staying in step with new capabilities and use cases.
Requirements:
* Proven experience creating technical content for developer or infrastructure audiences.
* Strong ability to understand complex systems through hands-on exploration, not only through documentation reviews or SME interviews.
* Excellent communication skills and a user-first mindset, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
* Comfortable engaging with cross-functional teams as a partner and contributor to the product narrative.
* Experience or interest in platform or infrastructure products (low-code, cloud platforms, or similar).
* Curiosity, autonomy, and the drive to learn new technologies quickly.
* Experienced with a docs-as-code approach, including authoring in Markdown, collaborating through GitHub, and working in development-friendly environments such as VS Code.
* Familiar with core software development concepts — including web services, databases, and cloud architecture — to engage confidently with engineering teams and understand technical scenarios.
* Familiar with Agile delivery practices and comfortable working in iterative development cycles.
* Experienced with collaboration and tracking tools such as Jira to manage work transparently and align with cross-functional teams.
* Able to think creatively and outside the box.
* Familiarity with OutSystems, low-code platforms, or modern cloud-native architectures.
* Understanding of core AI concepts and their implications for knowledge experiences.
* Awareness of how AI technologies can enhance the creation, organization, and delivery of technical content.
* Fluency in English.
