We're looking for a Civil Engineer/Project Manager ready to lead large-scale industrial construction projects – from planning through to execution on site.
What you'll be doing: Initial Phase: Report directly to the General Manager Coordinate external partners and technical stakeholders Manage timelines, materials and requirements with engineering firms and subcontractors Project Execution Phase: Take full on-site project leadership Oversee construction execution and respond to technical matters Lead project reporting to HQ in China and ensure smooth communication flow Manage teams on site and ensure deadlines, quality and budget are met Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and automation teams Scope of the Project: First building spans 92 hectares, with greenlight for further phases Integration with road, rail and port infrastructure Oversight of utilities, water systems, drainage, and earthworks Support for sustainable construction practices and potential LEED/BREEAM certifications Ensure regulatory compliance and licensing with APA and local authorities What we're looking for: Degree in Civil Engineering Solid background in industrial construction and project management Hands-on mindset – you enjoy being on site Strong coordination and communication skills Fluent in English (Portuguese not required) Open to working with high-performance, multicultural teams – including based HQ This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of Portugal's most ambitious industrial developments, with long-term career growth potential in facility management or future expansion phases.
