Position:
As
Supply Chain Manager
you will be responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, including warehousing, production planning, logistics and customer service. Operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated and constantly evolving environment, the role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and operational excellence to ensure seamless product flow, on-time deliveries, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead cross-functional teams and work closely with production, procurement, and quality departments to align supply chain processes with business goals. This is an on-site role, based across both facilities in Setúbal and Alcochete, with flexibility to work from home up to two days per week.
Main Responsibilities:
* Define and execute the supply chain strategy in line with company objectives
* Lead, develop and strengthen collaboration between Warehouse, Production Planning, Logistics, and Customer Service teams across the different sites
* Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
* Establish, monitor, and optimize supply chain KPIs to drive performance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Production, Quality, Sales, Finance, and Global Supply Chain—to ensure alignment of plans and priorities
* Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards and requirements
* Oversee warehouse operations to guarantee accurate inventory management and efficient material/product flows
* Lead production planning to balance customer demand, production capacity, and raw material availability
* Secure smooth, cost-effective logistics operations, from dispatch to delivery
* Guarantee excellent customer service and client satisfaction
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen supply chain resilience
Requirements:
* Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or similar
* Strong experience in similar roles
* Experience in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, food, medical devices) is a plus
* Solid leadership and people management skills
* Strong strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities
* Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel/analytics skills
* Fluent in English, both written and verbal
* Strong ability to communicate with different cultural and functional backgrounds
* Results-oriented, with focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction
