NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Feasibility studies for the PV power plants in Jiu Valley and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
The overall objective of this assignment is to carry out a Feasibility Study for a PV electricity production plant with electricity storage plants in the municipalities of Aninoasa, Lupeni and Uricani.
Location: Jiu Valley, Romania.
Duration: The intended start date is September 2025 (the "Start Date") and the services shall be provided for a period of 12 months from this date (the "Period of Implementation").
Key Expert: Project economist (Cat. II)
Qualifications and skills:
* At least bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance or Economics (minimum requirement ).
* Fluency in written and spoken English is required (CEFR C1).
* Fluency in written and spoken Romanian would be an asset .
* Computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams), proven proficiency in using Excel.
General professional experience:
* Minimum of 10-years of relevant professional experience in financial and economic assessment of the electricity generation investment projects (minimum requirement ).
Specific professional experience:
* At least 7-years' experience in financial and economic assessment of clean electricity generation projects and proven by at least 5 projects (minimum requirement ).
* At least 5-years' experience in financial and economic assessment of PV parks projects proven by at least 3 projects since 2018 (minimum requirement ).
* At least 5-years' experience in financial and economic assessment electricity storage projects proven by at least 2 projects since 2018 (minimum requirement ).
* Proven experience in clean energy project financing will be considered an asset .
* Experience working in Romanian will be considered as an asset .
