Group FP&A Business Analyst - Systems & BI
?
What will you do?
Develop, maintain, and enhance advanced Excel-based reporting templates and financial models to support the entire FP&A reporting cycle - Power Query, dynamic data structures, VBA/macros, multi-source data modelling, live system connectivity, complex formulas logic, and template governance;
Own and develop Group Power BI dashboards - including data model design, DAX measures and calculations, Power Query transformations, report layout and UX, and scheduled refresh management and maintenance - ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with business needs;
Ensure data integrity by performing controls and reconciliations across multiple Group System sand data sources (HFM, Tagetik, BI), identifying and resolving discrepancies to deliver accurate and reliable financial information to key stakeholders;
Serve as the FP&A subject matter expert in system-related projects (HFM, Tagetik, Essbase, Power BI), collecting business requirements, leading or supporting design and UAT, and contributing to deployment;
Identify and implement reporting efficiencies through automation, reducing manual effort and improving data reliability across the FP&A cycle;
Act as a bridge between Sodexo's Finance community and the Group Finance Systems team: translate business reporting needs into functional system requirements, support UAT and validation of enhancements, and ensure smooth adoption across the finance community;

What You Need to Succeed:
Solid educational background (Master's degree) in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent;
3 - 5 years' experience, with a strong mix of FP&A and finance systems/BI work. Prior exposure to finance system implementation, migration, or optimization projects is highly valued;
Advanced skills in Excel (dynamic models, Power Query, VBA/macros, template architecture) and Power BI or equivalent (dashboard design, data modelling, DAX or similar). Experience with Essbase, HFM, Tagetik is preferred;
Strong aptitude and interest in financial systems, reporting and modelling: creating complex reports, reconciliations, and automation - as a power user and builder;
Strong project ownership: able to drive a BI or template project from scoping to delivery with rigor, reliability, and consistency;
Highly self-motivated, with strong time management skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, manage ad-hoc requests, and tackle complex challenges under tight deadlines;
Ability to work diligently and effectively with all levels within the organization;
Clear and concise communication skills in a highly multicultural environment;
Proactive and autonomous; able to scope, drive, and deliver in ambiguous project environments with minimal supervision or guidance;
Fluency in English required;
