The company you're going to work at:
Shared Services based in Lisbon.
Your new role:
The primary goal of this role is to serve as an independent accounting specialist, ensuring all accounting and reporting processes are accurately executed. The individual will be fully accountable for maintaining complete and accurate books and timely reporting of financial figures for designated entities.
Carry out accounting and reporting tasks according to established processes;
Complete period-end tasks for assigned entities, reconcile and clear accounts, and report actuals in the reporting system;
Serve as a subject matter expert for accounting and reporting processes;
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and legal requirements;
Support migration projects by shadowing work and creating work instructions;
Assist the Team Lead in charge of identifying areas for process improvement;
Resolve complex queries from several stakeholders;
Mentor junior team members;
Act as a backup for the RTR Team Lead.
What you need to be successful:
- Minimum 6+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience;
- Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting;
- Additional accounting certification is a plus;
- Experience of working with IFRS and local standards is a plus;
- Knowledge of Technology: MS Office, SAP is an advantage;
- Languages: English (fluent), others is an advantage.
