You will join a Global Business Service support team as an IT Support Expert, providing technical and functional assistance for critical industrial applications used across a large international organization. In this role, you will diagnose and resolve complex incidents, ensure system reliability, and contribute to continuous service improvement within a highly collaborative and multicultural environment.
Description
Main Responsibilities:
Functional & Technical Support:
Provide assistance to users, ensuring timely incident resolution, accurate diagnoses, and clear communication throughout the support cycle.
System Monitoring & Ticket Management:
Monitor system and application performance, review and update tickets, and escalate complex issues when necessary to ensure service continuity.
Incident Analysis & Workarounds:
Implement temporary workarounds and contribute to root-cause analysis to support both immediate recovery and long-term solution stability.
Application & System Maintenance:
Assist with the configuration, maintenance, and improvement of IT and industrial applications, including hardware, software, and network-related troubleshooting when relevant.
Continuous Service Improvement:
Contribute to optimisation initiatives by improving procedures, reducing incident recurrence, and proposing enhancements to increase application reliability and operational efficiency.
Profile
What you bring:
Education & Experience:
University Degree, combined with initial experience in IT/Application Support, including network architecture, system testing, system integration, and troubleshooting.
Technical Skills:
Good customer-service orientation with excellent communication skills and a solid sense of ownership; Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities for functional and business analysis and robust technical troubleshooting expertise across hardware, software, network environments, Windows operating systems, and SQL Server databases.
Teamwork & Autonomy:
Strong team spirit, ability to work both independently and within a global environment, and willingness to participate in the voluntary paid on-call system.
Languages Skills:
English mandatory; French is a strong asset.
