This role combines hands-on feature development with architectural ownership, focusing on bothin-vehicle applicationsandscalable Android frameworks and componentsused across multiple products and partners.Key Responsibilities Design and developAndroid Automotive (AAOS)applications. Build and maintainreusable componentsacross apps, services, libraries, and SDKs. Integrate Android applications withbackend services, APIs, AI, and voice interfaces. Define and enforceclean architecture patterns, coding standards, and modular design principles. Analyze existing systems to identify duplication and drivestandardization and reusability. Optimize applications and platform components forperformance, reliability, and resource efficiencyin constrained environments. Ensure compliance withautomotive UX and driver distraction guidelines. Collaborate closely withProduct, QA, DevOps, and external partners (OEMs). Contribute toCI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release processes. Debug complex issues acrossembedded hardware, multiple OS versions, and production environments. Support integrations and participate intechnical discussions with stakeholders when needed. Document architectural decisions, best practices, and implementation guidelines.Requirements 3+ years of professional experience in Android development. Strong proficiency inKotlin(Java is a plus). Experience buildingproduction-grade Android applications or platform components. Solid understanding ofAndroid architecture patterns(MVVM, Clean Architecture) and Jetpack. Proven experience inmodularization, refactoring, and scalable system design. Experience integratingREST APIsand handling asynchronous data flows. Strong debugging and performance optimization skills. Familiarity withCI/CD, automated testing, and modern development workflows. Experience working withAndroid Automotive OS (AAOS)or embedded Android environments. Understanding ofin-vehicle infotainment (IVI)systems is highly valued.
