BlueOASIS is a young and growing company focusing on developing sustainable solutions for our Oceans Protection. blueOASIS is working on four scopes: numerical analysis for offshore renewables and ships, underwater acoustics, smart ocean modelling and sensorization, and digital twining. We are also developing a disruptive Ocean Digital Twin platform:. Our team is now looking for a dynamic Chief Product Officer for Hydrotwin (HT) unique product and their platforms.
Role description
Now that Hydrotwin is technically sound and we have started selling it, we need to disseminate it, market it, make our existing clients happy, engage with new ones, prepare our next Hydrotwin versions and ensure that all field deployed Hydrotwin systems are working (hardware, software and dashboard). You will be then instrumental in coordinating ALL internal and external activities regarding Hydrotwin.
Responsibilities:
* CPO management position.
* Coordinate the development of Hydrotwin, managing and supervising the work of the AI, hardware and software teams.
* Prepare technical and commercial documentation together with the Marketing and Communication team.
* First contact of technical support, together with CTO and technical teams.
* Prepare and fulfil (with help of all other teams and CTO) HT future products roadmap.
* Travel, together with Sea Operation technicians, to client deployed Hydrotwin locations, whenever needed.
* Ensure continuous product improvement to guarantee better performance with each new version.
* Coordinate the new control room for managing the global Hydrotwin grid.
* Ensure 95% of up-time of all Hydrotwins deployed in the field.
Expertise needed
* Knowledge of IoT and embedded systems.
* SaaS product experience.
* Basic knowledge of AI products.
* Experience with ocean sensors.
* Experience with ocean/maritime field work.
* Experience with project management tools like Clickup, Astana, Wrike.
* Naval, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronic, Computer Science Engineering degree (or equivalent), or ex-military officer (Navy).
Added value (one of these skills is a plus)
* Underwater acoustic knowledge.
* Offshore renewables and/or environmental impact knowledge.
* Security or defence world experience.
* Programming skills.
* Good communicator.
General conditions
* Work in Ericeira office. Travel to Horta-Azores office 1x/month, minimum. Or vice-versa.
* 4 days minimum per week in the office.
* Some flexibility with temporary remote work.
* 40h work week.
* 1 year contract with trial period. Renewed upon good performance.
* 23 days of vacation.

* Salary range depending on experience (3000€ up to 4000€ gross per month, 14 salaries per year included).
