Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Lead Generator / Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in commercial sales, particularly within the polyphenols, nutraceuticals, biotechnology, or chemical compounds industries. Experience in fast-paced startup environments and a history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets are essential. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential B2B customers, initiating commercial discussions, and securing Letters of Intent (LOIs) during the early stages of the project. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Identification & Acquisition:
Proactively identify and engage prospective B2B clients, particularly within the chemical, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or nutrition sectors. Leverage industry networks and research to build a robust client base from the ground up. Sales Pipeline Development:
Build and manage a structured sales pipeline, driving prospects through the funnel from initial contact to signed Letters of Intent (LOIs) and potential off-take agreements. Lead Generation:
Generate high-quality leads through targeted outreach, cold calling, industry networking, trade shows, and digital prospecting. Continuously expand and nurture the pipeline. Sales Presentations & Negotiation:
Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations tailored to each prospect's needs. Effectively communicate the value proposition and negotiate terms to close commercial deals. Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with potential clients, ensuring clear communication, alignment on expectations, and readiness for future commercial engagement. Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field. Strong understanding of the polyphenols, nutraceuticals, chemicals, or pharmaceutical sectors, including relevant market dynamics and regulatory frameworks. Proven experience in B2B sales within one or more of the above industries, ideally involving complex or technical products. Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in early-stage or fast-growing companies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders. Self-driven, results-oriented, and highly organized, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving business objectives.
