We are recruiting a Java Developer to join an international project with a client in the banking sector.
Location: Porto or Lisbon
Regime: Hybrid work model – two days per week on-site
Salary Range: 1900€ - 2200€ net per month
Main Responsibilities:
Creating high-performance, scalable Java-based applications that meet client requirements. Engaging in all phases, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Developing well-designed, testable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Working closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions. Identifying and resolving technical issues in existing applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Keeping abreast of new developments in the Java ecosystem and integrating relevant advancements into projects.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Java development. Proficiency in the Spring ecosystem. Experience with Microservices Architecture. Knowledge of Relational Databases. Experience with Azure Cloud. Knowledge of messaging services, such as Kafka. Experience with Agile methodologies. Fluency in English.
