The Marketing Innovations Team at Agoda identifies & develops new marketing channels with high growth potential. This department is highly creative, data-driven, and focused on developing at-scale marketing programs that ensure Agoda’s leadership in emerging channels. The team comprises top analysts, marketing strategists, and data scientists. Our leadership has deep experience in data science, product, strategy, and marketing, fostering a culture that thrives on data, creativity, and technology. Working closely with experts worldwide provides excellent learning and growth opportunities.
In this role, you’ll get to:
* Spearhead the development, execution, and optimization of strategies for Agoda’s new & emerging marketing channels.
* Analyze large, complex datasets related to channel performance, user behavior, and market trends to generate actionable insights.
* Design experiments (e.g., A/B tests), develop hypotheses, and evaluate campaign effectiveness to inform data-driven decisions.
* Collaborate with various teams to identify opportunities and interpret trends using tools like SQL or Tableau.
* Communicate findings and strategic recommendations clearly to stakeholders, including senior management.
What you’ll need to succeed:
* 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis or related projects involving big data, preferably in tech, e-commerce, or digital marketing. Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economics, or Finance is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and MS Excel, capable of translating data into impactful insights.
* Innovative problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and adaptability in complex scenarios.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create compelling presentations.
* Effective stakeholder management and commercial acumen.
Nice to have:
* Experience in digital or social media marketing.
* Knowledge of hypothesis testing, statistical analysis, and Python/R for data analysis.
