Job Overview
ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking a passionate and highly qualified Psychology Teacher to deliver the IGCSE and IB Psychology curricula, as well as contribute to the Middle School Integrated Humanities programme. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is dedicated to inspiring students, fostering critical thinking, and nurturing a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities
Effective Learning and Student Growth
- Design and implement engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including inquiry-based learning, discussions, and digital tools.
- Continuously assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals while promoting personal growth and resilience.
Curriculum and Pedagogical Excellence
- Demonstrate deep subject expertise in Psychology and Humanities, ensuring content delivery meets international standards.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in teaching and learning.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, ensuring an innovative and comprehensive learning experience.
- Integrate technology and interdisciplinary approaches to enhance student engagement.
Student Well-being and Classroom Management
- Foster a respectful, supportive, and inclusive classroom culture.
- Build strong relationships with students, promoting their social-emotional well-being.
- Encourage participation in extracurricular activities, clubs, and school events related to Psychology and Humanities.
- Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support student success.
Professional Growth and School Involvement
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to enhance cross-curricular learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (a teaching qualification is preferred).
- Experience teaching IGCSE and/or IB Psychology (or similar international curricula).
- A strong understanding of Middle School Humanities education.
- A passion for inspiring students and fostering a love of learning.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Experience working in an international or multicultural environment (preferred).
- A commitment to student well-being and safeguarding.
- A strong command of English.
