The Senior Security Automation Engineer ensures security risks are identified, prioritized, tested, and resolved efficiently at scale, using automation, DevOps practices, and AI-assisted tools. Working within the Security Operations team, the role bridges infrastructure, security, and engineering, delivering stable, compliant, and well-documented patch management processes while supporting global teams and leadership with clear insights.

Main responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end global patch and vulnerability process across servers, endpoints, operating systems, and applications
* Perform vulnerability assessments, prioritize remediation based on risk and business impact, and coordinate global patch deployments
* Test patches to ensure system stability, compatibility, and performance prior to production release
* Design and maintain automation workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and compliance
* Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of patching activities
* Produce compliance and remediation reports for senior stakeholders and maintain technical documentation
* Apply DevOps practices and leverage AI-assisted tools to optimize security operations and workflows
* Support or guide team members as a senior technical contributor or potential team lead
Core requirements
* Strong experience in Windows Server, VMware, and working knowledge of Linux
* Solid background in patch management, vulnerability remediation, and OS-level troubleshooting
* Proficiency in PowerShell and scripting with Python and/or Ruby
* Experience integrating systems using REST APIs
* Familiarity with Active Directory, WSUS, and DNS
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and modern automation tools
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in global, cross-functional teams
