About the Role
Are you passionate about laboratory operations and equipment management in a GMP-regulated environment? We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team as aGestor de Equipamento Analítico. In this dynamic role, you'll be at the heart of our facilities and lab operations, ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and exceptional customer service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities & Laboratory Operations
1. Coordinate preventive maintenance (PM) and track equipment performance
2. Provide basic training and troubleshooting support for common lab equipment
3. Manage Help Desk tickets and escalate operational issues
4. Assist with procurement of lab and office supplies
5. Ensure proper storage of hazardous and biohazardous materials
6. Monitor cryogenic gas and dry ice usage
7. Support upkeep of shared lab spaces and shipping/receiving logistics
Customer Service
8. Facilitate onboarding/offboarding of licensees
9. Coordinate specialty equipment training and facility modifications
10. Liaise with contractors and ensure smooth execution of changes
Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
11. Promote adherence to EHS policies and site SOPs
12. Organize Safety Committee meetings and follow up on action items
13. Support emergency response and incident reporting
14. Assist with SOP creation, audits, and corrective actions
Qualifications
15. Bachelor's degree in Science (preferred) or related field
16. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting
17. Strong troubleshooting and process optimization skills
18. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
19. Excellent communication and organizational skills
20. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

21. A hands-on, motivated individual with a "can-do" attitude
22. Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving mindset
23. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
24. Familiarity with GMP standards and lab safety protocols
25. Knowledge of VWR products and services is a plus
26. Language: Portugese, English
Work Environment
27. Laboratory and production settings with standard lighting and ventilation
28. Physical activity includes standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating equipment
29. Use of both hands and feet for repetitive tasks; vision requirements include close and peripheral vision
