Release Management Expert
As a seasoned Release Management professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of software releases across multiple systems. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and manage software releases, guaranteeing stability and alignment with business objectives.
Key aspects of the job involve defining and enforcing versioning standards and naming conventions for application components. This ensures modularity and independence of deployable artifacts. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining release calendars aligned with functional and technical specifications, coordinating delivery timelines across distributed development teams, and planning and executing deployments in collaboration with infrastructure stakeholders.
Moreover, you will monitor infrastructure component lifecycle and obsolescence, and maintain a consistent and predictable release cadence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of experience in release management or large-scale IT project coordination
* Strong knowledge of SDLC and DevOps practices
* Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and SonarQube
* Experience with version control systems like Git and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
* Previous work in Agile Scrum or ITIL environments
* Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
