We are looking for a Head of Communications to:
* Lead Sword Health’s global communications strategy across public relations, corporate communications, executive visibility, crisis management, and internal communications.
* Report to the VP and Head of CEO Office, shaping Sword Health’s voice, strengthening our brand reputation, and amplifying our story to members, employers, partners, media, and the healthcare community.
What you'll be doing:
1. Build and own Sword Health’s global communications strategy across earned, owned, and shared channels.
2. Partner with the CEO to lead external communications efforts including media relations, press releases, and storytelling.
3. Manage crisis communications and reputational issues, providing executive counsel and strategic direction.
4. Collaborate with leadership to enhance their public profiles through speaking engagements, awards, bylines, and interviews.
5. Develop internal communications programs to inspire and align employees around the company's mission and values.
6. Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Brand, Product, Legal, and People teams to ensure message consistency.
7. Manage PR agencies and external vendors, aligning results with business goals.
8. Measure and report on communications effectiveness and brand perception.
What you need to have:
1. 8+ years of experience in communications, including leading global communications for high-growth technology or healthcare companies.
2. Deep expertise in media relations, crisis communications, executive communications, and internal communications.
3. Proven track record of securing impactful media coverage and driving brand narratives.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of distilling complex concepts into clear messages.
5. Experience working with C-level executives and influencing at all organizational levels.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
7. Strong judgment, discretion, and a proactive approach.
