What are you going to do?
* Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Cloud environments (Azure, Databricks, Data Factory).
* Work with Big Data tools such as Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, Flink, ElasticSearch, Sqoop, Flume, Impala, Kafka Streams/Connect, Druid, among others.
* Develop and maintain data integration and ETL processes, ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance.
* Perform data modeling and database design for both relational and NoSQL databases.
* Contribute to the architecture of distributed systems and large-scale data processing pipelines.
* Apply best practices in version control using Git.
What are we looking for?
* 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer;
* Experience with cloud platforms and services for data engineering (Azure);
* Exprience with Databricks and Azure Data Factory (a strong plus).
* Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
* Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
* Experience with cloud platforms and data engineering services (Azure, AWS S3, etc.).
* Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Kafka, Talend).
* Solid understanding of distributed architectures and large-scale data processing.
* Written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 or above);
* Candidates must be based in Portugal and possess either European citizenship or a valid Work Visa/Residence Card – mandatory requirement;
