The company was founded in 2007 and is operating from Washington/DC, Frankfurt/Germany, and Lisbon/Portugal metropolitan areas.We are seeking a Business Development Assistant/Officer to join our BD team and support our team of economists in our growing business.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- Search procurement websites to identify new business opportunities
- Support with the development, production, and submission of proposals, ensuring adherence to proposal timelines and requirements
- Maintain internal business development databases
- Search for and contact potential technical experts and suppliers
- Prepare vendor contracts and work orders for external suppliers
- Maintain and update internal database of consultants
- Maintain and update database of external technical experts and subcontractors
- Create and maintain BD resources such as project descriptions and past performance references, update CV's and other documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or similar field; Master's Degree would be a plus
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while being attentive to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
